Satisfaction Survey... 

New Light Recovery Center clients were randomly selected to complete a client satisfaction survey.The clients were asked to answer various questions about several aspects of the treatment services that they recieved while at New Light Recovery Center.  The Continous Quality Improvement (CQI) Department compiled the results of the 58 client responses that they received.  The following is a sampling of the CQI Department's findings.

1. How would you rate the quality of service(s)?

  • 30% rated excellent
  • 56% rated good
  • 13% rated fair
  • 1% rated poor

2. Did you get the kind of service(s) needed?

  • 22% answered definitely yes
  • 72% answered generally yes
  • 5% answered not really

3. To what extent did the program enable you to deal more effectively with your problem(s)?

  • 50% replied, "It helped a great deal."
  • 45% replied, "It helped somewhat."
  • 2% replied, "It didn't really help."

4. How has your family life changed since you have been in treatment?

  • 48% felt that it improved a great deal
  • 48% felt that it improved somewhat
  • 3% felt that there was no change

5. How have your physical problem(s) changed since you've been in treatment?

  • 29% felt that their physical problem(s) improved
  • 60% felt that their physical problem(s) somewhat improved
  • 10% replied that they didn't know

6. How actively involved were you in the development of your treatment?

  • 47% felt that they were very active
  • 48% felth that they were somewhat active
  • 5% were not very active

7. If you were to seek treatment services again, would you return to the program?

  • 38% answered definitely yes
  • 43% answered yes
  • 16% answered no, probably not
  • 3% answered no, definitely not

8. How satisfied were your children or other family members with the services that you received?

  • 34% felt that they were very satisfied
  • 36% felt that they were somewhat satisfied
  • 3% felt that they were not too satified
  • 24% answered N/A

9. How confident were you about the agency staff's competency and training?

  • 43% felt that they were very confident
  • 52% felt that they were confident
  • 5% felt that they did not know

10. Do you feel that the agency staff was caring and concerned about your welfare?

  • 31% felt that the staff cared a great dal
  • 53% felt that the staff cared most of the time
  • 3% felt that the staff was not concerned at all
  • 12% did not know

11. How would you characterize the length of your treatment?

  • 91% felt that it was sufficient
  • 9% felt that it was too long

12. Overall, how satisfied were you with the services that you received?

  • 31% felt that they were very satisfied
  • 66% felt that they were satified
  • 3% felt that they were not too satisfied

After a complete analysis the data collected, including the client respones that were noted above, the CQI Department concluded that an overwhelming majority of clients were satisfied with the quality of services that they received at New Light Recovery Center, Inc.
